Hi there! I'm Daniel. I designed, developed, and look after this website. I worked on a freelance basis as a web designer and developer for the Engine Room from September 2006 through to July 2007, before joining the team on a permanent basis in September 2007. Biography
I have worked to grab a BA in Law & Politics from the SOAS University of London, but I have enthusiastically continued my career in the world of the internet. I have skills in formal visual design, digital information architecture, social media, xHTML, CSS, AJAX, content management systems (this site runs on Joomla), e-commerce and plenty more. I thoroughly enjoy working with the Engine Room as we have a fantastic team of people doing worthwhile and social beneficial projects. Since January 2010 I have also been involved with the development of business for the Engine Room: assisting in finding and preparing public tenders for projects and funding. When I'm not having fun playing around with little bits of CSS3 and what not, I spend a lot of time in the gym lifting weights and trying to learn the beautiful language of Japanese. 長寿と繁栄を!
